ADFA Open Day is an ideal opportunity for you to experience this unique, world class training and educational facility. If you are interested in combining a challenging and exciting career in the Australian Defence Force with a degree from UNSW Australia, then ADFA Open Day is the place for you.

At the ADFA Open Day
Defence members and UNSW Canberra staff will be able to provide you with course and careers information. Navy Midshipmen and Army and Air Force Officer Cadets will also be available to talk to you about their life at ADFA and take you on personalised tours of the campus.
Open Day is your chance to see a range of exciting action packed displays by the Navy, Army and Air Force. You can see a Navy helicopter, demonstrations of Army field tactics, the Air Force hot air balloon and UNSW Canberra academic displays. ADFA Midshipmen and Officer Cadets will demonstrate different aspects of their training, complete the pool obstacle course, undertake physical training, conduct abseiling and rock climbing, and practice military self defence. The ADFA band will also perform live music throughout the day.
UNSW Canberra at the ADFA Open Day
UNSW Canberra staff will host information sessions on all aspects of academic life to potential applicants and their families. The information sessions will address the undergraduate courses that are offered in Arts, Business, Science, Engineering, Technology and Information Technology.
UNSW Canberra at ADFA now also offers specialised undergraduate engineering programs in Aeronautical, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical to non defence students.
